We cordially invite you to join the 8th International Symposium on Applied Chemistry (ISAC) 2022. The theme of this year's symposium is: "Advanced Chemistry Breakthrough for a Better Future” The 8th ISAC 2022, which will be held on November 22-23, 2022, is organized by Research Center for Chemistry, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
The 8th ISAC 2022 provides a forum for the exchange of information on the state-of-the-art research within all of the related topics and at the same time aims to build and strengthen scientific cooperation among the research institutions. The 8th ISAC 2022 is part of the 2022 International Conference that is organized by BRIN. This website is the only official website of The 8th ISAC 2022.
In conjunction with the 8th ISAC 2022 there will be a complimentary lecture and hands-on training on GC/MS and chemisorption analysis technique (TPD/TPR/TPO) which will be held on 24 November 2022.

Siti Nurul Aisyiyah Jenie, Ph.D
National Research and Innovation Agency
Dr. Jenie is presently a senior researcher in the Research Centre for Chemistry, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Indonesia, and an accomplished researcher in chemistry with extensive knowledge in materials science and nanotechnology. She finished her Ph.D. in Materials and Minerals Science in 2016 in which her thesis highlights the development of new optical nanomaterials based on porous silicon for biosensing applications. In 2017, Dr. Jenie was awarded the L’Oreal-UNESCO FWIS National Fellowship (Indonesia) in the field of Materials Science. She has since received numerous awards including one of the Best Researchers in 2017 in the Research Centre of Chemistry and the Inspirational Civil Service Employee in 2021 from the Indonesian Institute of Sciences-LIPI. Since 2020, she lead the Nanoparticle-based point of care detection of antibiotic-resistant bacteria (NAPARBA) Project, funded by the Southeast Asia – Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation in collaboration with the University of Siegen, Germany, and Koc University, Turkey. She has also been proactive in leading biosensor-related research for COVID-19. Currently, together with her collaborators from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), she initiated the BRIN-ITB Collaboration Research Centre for Biosensors and Biodevices, funded by BRIN early this year. Dr. Jenie has published her work in high reputable publications as well as being the inventor of four granted patents as detailed in her Curriculum Vitae.

Guideline for Paper Submission
Besides the registration through the conference’s Google Forms, every first author or corresponding author who would like to submit a paper to ISAC 2022 must create an account in the EDAS management system.
The abstract submission for ISAC 2022 is open until the deadline on July 18, 2022. All accepted manuscripts will be published in proceedings indexed by Scopus.
