Research Organization for Energy and Manufacture, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) are proud to present the 12th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering and Application 2025 (ICSEEA 2025), This conference will be held on a hybrid basis with online and offline presentation on 19th to 20th February, 2025, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In this conference, researchers, experts and industry leaders from around the world will to share diverse topics related to renewable energy integration in industrial processes, advanced testing technology and its application in smart manufacturing to realize sustainable future. Through keynote addresses, panel discussions, technical sessions, and workshops, we aim to illuminate the pathways toward sustainable development and economic growth. The ICSEEA 2025 will serves as a vital platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collective action to address the urgent need for energy-efficient practices and environmentally responsible manufacturing strategies. Together, we will explore how cutting-edge research and strategic partnerships can drive positive change and foster a more resilient and inclusive global economy. The ICSEEA 2025 is attended by international researchers, government representative, industrial society, and practitioners interested in new and renewable energy, sustainable transportation, green manufacturing, advanced testing technology, green maritime technology, instrumentation systems and industry 4.0, and related topics.

The 12th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering and Application 2025 (ICSEEA 2025) aims to bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and academics to discuss and share advancements, trends, and innovations in energy, manufacturing, advanced testing technology, and sustainability.     Paper Submission

    Preparing Your Paper

    We invite submissions on conference scopes/tracks but are not limited. Author should submit full technical papers in doc/docx format. Each paper will be double blind peer-reviewed by experts in the field for originality, contribution, and soundness. Authors of accepted paper must guarantee that at least one of the authors will attend the conference and present their paper.

    >> All accepted full papers, will be considered for publication in the the IEEE Explore. All papers published in IEEE Explore are fully citable. Proceedings publication requires additional charge: USD 100.

    Upload Presentation File for Offline and Online Presenters

    • Online presenters must present their work LIVE via video conferencing platform that will be provided by the organiser soon.
    • Offline presenters must present their work directly.
    • Both online and offline presenters are strongly advised to submit the presentation file before the conference.
    • The format of presentation should be pptx. Though there are no strict template for the presentation file.
    • Presenters must include the ICSEEA 2025 logo in their first slide.

    Upload Presentation File for Online Presenters

    • All online presenters are strongly advised to submit the pre-recorded presentation video. The video will be used as a backup if the presenter cannot do the live presentation due to connection problem. LIVE PRESENTATION IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL PRESENTERS TO BE CONSIDERED IN AFTER CONFERENCE PUBLICATIONS.
    • There will be three online parallel sessions conducted during the conference, hence, please ensure that you have upload the video into the correct virtual conference room.
    • The video needs to show the slide presentation and the face of presenters while presenting. Please use official virtual Background of ICSEEA 2025.
    • All presenters will be given 8 mins for presentation/video presentation. It is required to prepare a recorded video with the duration of 5 to 8 minutes. The maximum size of the video will be 250 MB. The format of the video can be in mp4 or wmv file only.
    • Video format: Format: MPEG-4 (.mp4) format ONLY, Resolution: high definition (720p or 1080p).

      1. No background music is allowed.
      2. All presentations must be in English.
      3. Audio commentary and all information on the slides must be clearly presented.

    Seminar Rules & Regulation

    • While attending the seminar, participants and invited guests are required to dress neatly and politely.
    • Participants are required to join the virtual room 15 minutes before the event starts. 
    • Participants are required to follow the name format (Article ID_Name_ICSEEA2025). 
    • Participants must activate the camera and use the background provided by the committee. 
    • Participants are required to mute the sound during the conference and unmute the sound when requested. 
    • During parallel sessions, speaker participants are expected to remain in their respective rooms on standby waiting for their scheduled presentations. 
    • Seminar participants are allowed to join each room provided by the committee.

    Virtual Conference Guidelines

    All  participants  are  encouraged  to  read  all  the  provided  guidelines  to  ensure  the  virtual  conferencing  will running smoothly. 
    Technical Instructions for All Participant: 
    • All participants are strongly advised to send a previously recorded presentation video. Video will be used as a backup if participants are unable to present live due to connection errors.
    • Before you connect to the virtual room, please open your PowerPoint presentation on your desktop.
    • Download and install Zoom software via https://zoom.us
    • There will be three (3) parallel sessions conducted during the conference, hence, please ensure that you are entering the correct virtual room for your session. All presenters must be in the virtual room throughout the session. 
    • Sessions (in this case, meetings) will be opened by the host 30 min prior to the starting time, to allow every participant to join on time. No sessions will start before the host opens the session.
    • Each  session  will  be  hosted  by  a  moderator.  The Moderator  will  introduce  the  presenters,  handling  the Q&A by reading all the written questions (in the chat box), and closes the session.
    • All presenters will be given 8 min for presentation/ video presentation. A reminder will be announced 2 min prior to the end of the presentation time. In the case when presenters go unreasonably long with their presentations, the chairperson has the right to cut them off. 3-5 min will be allocated for the Q & A session.
    • Please use raise hand icon if you want to pose a question to the presenter or you can address your question in the chat box, so the chairperson can read it during the Q&A session.
    • All participants will enter the session in mute mode (to avoid interruptions of presentations that may be occurring). The hosts (ICSEEA2025_ Host) will enable the sound as soon as it is fit. The hosts will be monitored  the  sessions,  so  if  you  have  any  technical  questions  during  the  session,  you  can  send  chat messages to them, so they can assist you.

    Action to be taken before conference

    • All participants must ensure that information given such as email and mobile phone number are active.
    • All information and reminder regarding the conference will be forwarded through email.
    • Moderators will be invited for test session to ensure smoothness on the February 10th 2025. Download Zoom software via https://zoom.us/
    • Note: this is important to make sure that appropriate A/V equipment especially good headphones and microphone are available as well as to brief the presentation schedule.
    • All presenters are required to submit a of the video presentation before February 10th 2025.

    Action to be taken during the day of conference (for online presenter)

    • Select a quiet location, away from pets, children and other distractions. Turn off TV/music. Ensure the suitable light conditions when tuning-on the video.
    • Test your connection well in advance. Participants are advised to log in the virtual room at least 15 min before the session starts to ensure it starts on time. Use the link shared in the email to join the virtual room.
    • Ensure mute is selected when joining to avoid background noise – all participants should enter a meeting on mute and put on a headset. Only the appointed participant is allowed to unmute and perform the presentation.
    • Virtual background will be provided for this conference. Test the virtual background and try to position your camera correctly. Make sure your image is at the middle of the background. Weird camera angles can be very distracting and unflattering during video conferences.
    • All presenters must be prepared for their presentation as in the time set in the program tentative.
    • All participants are highly encouraged to stay online and remain for the entire session.
