Her current research interests include architectures for distributed quantum computation, quantum communication, quantum metrology system, quantum device designs, quantum networks, quantum computer languages & compilation, and hybrid & complex quantum systems.
Prof. Kwek Leong Chuan is a principal investigator at the Center for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore, and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies at Nanyang Technological University. His research group is interested in various issues related to entanglement ranging from distributed quantum computation to measurement-based quantum computation to quantum metrology and hybrid quantum systems.
Dr. Nguyen Tuan Hung is an Assistant Professor at the Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences, Tohoku University, Japan. He is an active member of The Fullerenes, Nanotubes and Graphene Research Society. His research group focuses on theory and simulation of fundamental energy conversion and storage, with applications to thermoelectricity, artificial muscles, and others. Besides that, he is also working on electronic structures based on tight-binding method, first-principles calculations based on density functional theory (DFT), ab initio molecular dynamics, electron-phonon interaction, and machine learning techniques.
Dr. Izyan Hazwani Hashim obtained her Ph.D. in Nuclear & Particle Physics at Osaka University. She is the current coordinator for Industrial Physics Undergraduate Programme, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is the Executive Board member of Coherent Muon to Electron Transition (COMET) and Ordinary Muon Capture for Double Beta Decay (OMC4DBD) experiments, which represent Malaysia‘s contribution in international level. She has more than 10 years’ experience in muon facilities at Japan and Switzerland. She is the Section Editor of Academy of Science (ASM) Science Journal and have experience in reviewing various International Journal in her field of expertise. Her research encompasses muon capture reaction on nuclei relevant for double beta decay nuclear matrix element and charge lepton flavor violation study.
