In an era where data is generated at an unprecedented scale, transforming raw data into meaningful knowledge has become a key challenge and opportunity. The convergence of Open Linked Data, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers innovative approaches to extracting insights, enhancing decision-making, and driving technological advancements across various domains. Within this context, Research Center for Data and Information Sciences, BRIN, organizes the 11th International Conference on Computer, Control, Informatics and its Applications (IC3INA) 2025 with the theme:

“From Data to Knowledge: The Convergence of Open Linked Data, Big Data, and AI”.

The IC3INA 2025 provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the integration of these technologies, share cutting-edge research, and discuss future trends. Key topics include data interoperability, knowledge representation, machine learning-driven analytics, and the ethical implications of AI in data-driven environments.

This year, the IC3INA 2025 will be held as a hybrid conference and broadcast live from Jakarta, Indonesia, on 15 and 16 October 2025. This conference will be held with sponsorship from the IEEE Indonesia Section. Currently, the proceedings of IC3INA 2025 are also planned to be published by IEEE in the same year, 2025.

However, there is no guarantee that the content will be published in Xplore® and indexed in Scopus.

Prof. Setia Pramana, S.Si, M.Sc, Ph.D,

Topic : Sensitivity analysis for unmeasured confounding in observational studies

Prof. Setia Pramana, S.Si, M.Sc, Ph.D, is a Professor of Statistics at Politeknik Statistika STIS, Jakarta, and currently serves as the Vice Director of Academic Affairs at the institution. He is actively involved in international and national data science initiatives, including as a Program Committee member of the UN Regional Hub of Big Data and Data Science for Asia and the Pacific, a member of the United Nations Statistics Division Data Science Leader Network, and a member of the Technical Advisory Group on Applications of Big Data and Data Science for Gender Data Gaps at UN Women. With a strong background in statistical bioinformatics, he earned his Ph.D. from Hasselt University, Belgium, after completing dual M.Sc. degrees in Biostatistics and Applied Statistics. His research expertise spans medical epidemiology, biostatistics, and big data analytics, further enriched by his experience as a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. Previously, he led Indonesia’s Big Data team at BPS Statistics Indonesia and contributed significantly to statistical modeling development. Prof. Setia also holds adjunct faculty positions at the University of Indonesia and the University of Syiah Kuala and is actively involved as a committee member for the Transfer and Use of Information and Data Content Materials at the Ministry of Health of Indonesia.

Muhammad Yudhi Rezaldi, M.Ds., Ph.D.

Muhammad Yudhi Rezaldi, M.Ds., Ph.D. , obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design from Pasundan University, Bandung, in 2004. He pursued his Master’s degree in Design at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), graduating in 2013, and later earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science/Visual Informatics from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2020. Currently, he is an Associate Researcher in the Human-Computer Interaction and Visualization (HCIV) research group at the Data and Information Science Research Center, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). His research interests include 2D/3D visualization, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and related fields. He has published over 25 international papers indexed in Scopus, Web of Science (WOS), and SINTA, contributing to advancements in his areas of expertise.

2. The purpose of a conference template is to provide a consistent format for papers appearing in the conference proceedings. IEEE strongly encourages the use of the conference manuscript templates provided below. 
3. IEEE conference templates contain guidance text for composing and formatting conference papers. Please ensure that all guidance text is removed from your conference paper prior to submission to the conference. 
4. Please be advised that we adopt IEEE no-show policy for non-presented paper (source: IEEE-Handling of Non-Presented Papers). IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including IEEEXplore Digital Library, if the paper is not presented by the author at the conference.
5. Failure to remove template text from your paper may result in your paper not being published.
6. Paper Format – Papers submitted to IC3INA 2025 must consist of 4-6 written pages, including pictures, tables, papers, and references. Papers that exceed 6 pages will not be considered for evaluation and acceptance. The author is responsible for ensuring that the submitted paper has a style, font, etc. in accordance with the IEEE Proceedings format. The papers submitted must be in PDF format.
7. Paper Submission Procedure – Paper submission through the EDAS system https://ic3ina2025.edas.info/
8. Plagiarism Checking – iThenticate which is included in the EDAS system. The similarity score is a maximum of 20 %
9. Copyright – The IEEE e-Rights Grid (or the article/author information on the e-Rights Form) to ensure that the title, authors, and email address are accurate. As the completed forms are a contract between IEEE and the authors, we must have the correct information within the form before IEEE can publish the article.

According to IEEE policy, each paper must be presented by one author of the paper. Therefore, if your paper is accepted, one of the authors is required to register and present their paper at the IC3INA 2025 conference.

Important! Please take note that IEEE has a strict policy on no-show. Papers with no-show participants without a valid reason will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore. No refund of the paid fees may be claimed by the no-show author.

Step 1 – Registration

IEEE has a No-Show policy: one of the authors or their representatives MUST present the paper at the conference. If you’ve received an email confirming your paper’s acceptance and a separate email regarding conference registration fees, there’s an important action required. Complete your registration payment for IC3INA 2024 by October 1st, 2024.

Once you’ve made your payment, solidify your registration by submitting your payment receipt at this link: https://bit.ly/ProofPaymentIC3INA24. Upon submitting the form, you’ll receive an email containing both your payment receipt and official Letter of Acceptance for your paper.

Step 2 – Final Manuscript Preparation:

• Please strictly adhere to the IEEE conference formatting guidelines. This includes font, spacing, margins, figures, tables, and citation style. For details, please refer to https://bit.ly/IC3INA_Author_Kit
• Carefully proofread your manuscript for any errors in grammar, spelling, or formatting to confirm that it will require no revision.
• Please reflect on the reviewers’ comments in your final manuscript. The committee will check whether the revision has been performed. Please also fill in the Revision Sheets and send them back to ic3ina.brin@gmail.com with your final manuscript.
• The final manuscript must have a similarity index below 20 percent based on IEEE requirements. Although you are not required to submit a report to us, please do a self-check of your final manuscript similarity index using Turnitin, iThenticate, or other reputable plagiarism-checking software.

Step 3 – IEEE Copyright Transfer

Accepted papers in 2024 IC3INA will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. In this case, IEEE will be the copyright holder of your paper. One copyright form is required for each accepted paper. To provide a transfer of copyright, please follow the instructions available in the https://bit.ly/IC3INA_Author_Kit

Step 4 – IEEE PDF eXpress

Use IEEE PDF eXpress [https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login?ReturnUrl=%2F] to generate the final PDF version of your manuscript. This tool ensures compliance with IEEE formatting standards. Papers that are not IEEE-compliant will not be included in the proceedings nor published. Please refer to the instructions provided in the https://bit.ly/IC3INA_Author_Kit for detailed guidance. Once you have completed this process, you should download the generated PDF of your final manuscript.

Step 5 – Final Manuscript & Presentation Submission

Your Camera-Ready manuscript should be uploaded before September 30, 2024 to EDAS and ic3ina.brin@gmail.com, while  the presentation and recorded video can wait until October 2, 2024.

• Please double-check the information that you provide during online submission: title of the paper AND name, affiliation, e-mail address of the authors, and its sequence.
• The presentation template is available as an option. You are allowed to have a different template.
• Virtual presenters must provide a well-made MP4 video (1080p) of their talk, not exceeding 10 minutes, to avoid technical issues during the conference. The pre-recorded video will be streamed live ONLY IF technical problems occur during your paper presentation sessions. It will be followed by a 5-minute Q&A session too.
• Name your files in the following format: “PaperID_FirstAuthor_PaperTitle”. The paper title can be the first few words.

How to get the Venue

The conference will take place at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), located at Jl. Gatot Subroto No. 10, Central Jakarta, a strategic area in the heart of Indonesia’s capital city. The venue is well-connected and easily accessible via various modes of transportation, both from within Jakarta and from other major cities. For international and domestic participants arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK)—commonly referred to as Cengkareng and served by major airlines worldwide—several convenient routes are available to reach BRIN Gatot Subroto.

• By Airport Bus or Shuttle Minibus, Several airport shuttle services and public buses operate from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) to various destinations in Jakarta, including areas near Jl. Gatot Subroto, where the BRIN office is located. While there is no direct shuttle to the BRIN complex, passengers may take a DAMRI bus or other shuttle service to central Jakarta locations such as Blok M, Gambir Station, or Semanggi, and then continue the journey using a taxi or online transportation service (e.g., Grab or Gojek). Depending on traffic, the total travel time may range from 45 to 90 minutes. Updated information on routes and fares can be accessed through websites such as https://www.redbus.id/en/ or https://www.traveloka.com.
• By Train, From Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), passengers may take the Airport Rail Link (Railink) to BNI City Station in Central Jakarta. The train operates regularly throughout the day, with a travel time of approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at BNI City Station, Upon arrival at BNI City Station, participants may cross to the Tosari 3 TransJakarta bus stop and board Corridor 9D (Pinang Ranti–Pluit via Semanggi). Alight at the Widya Chandra (Telkomsel) stop, which is conveniently located near the BRIN office on Jl. Gatot Subroto. From there, the venue is within walking distance.This multimodal route offers an efficient and affordable way to reach the venue, though passengers are advised to account for potential traffic and walking time between transfers.
• For a convenient and direct option, participants may take a taxi or use ride-hailing services such as Grab or Gojek from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) located on Jl. Gatot Subroto No. 10, Central Jakarta. The journey typically takes between 45 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Taxis are available at designated counters in each terminal of the airport, while ride-hailing pickups can be arranged via mobile apps from specific pickup zones.
