Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invited you to join: The 6th International Seminar on Metallurgy and Materials (ISMM 2025) in conjunction with The BRIN–ISIS International Neutron and Muon Workshop. The theme of conference is: “The Green Technology Innovation in Materials, Metallurgy and Energy for a Sustainable Future.” The conference will be held in South Tangerang, Indonesia, on 4-6 November 2025, is organized by Research Center for Metallurgy-BRIN, Research Organization for Nanotechnology and Materials (ORNM-BRIN), Perhimpunan Periset Indonesia (PPI)-South Tangerang, ISIS Neutron and Muon Source-UK. This seminar aimed to bring together researchers, academicians, and industries all around the world to share information and their research results. This event will also become a beneficial medium to exchange innovative ideas and build research collaboration in the future. During 3 days of the events, there will be many chances to share innovative ideas and build future multi-country networks and research collaboration in metallurgy and materials.

📝 Abstract Submission

The extended abstract submission for seminar is open until the deadline on September 14, 2025. All extended abstract will be selected in reputable journals indexed by Scopus and Sinta. Download the extended abstract template here and submit your abstract here.

📝 Presentation Guidelines

  1. The presenters should have submitted the presentation file to the committee of ISMM 2025 before the presentation begin (20 October 2025).
  2. Presenters are required to submit the presentation deck at https://forms.gle/ZXKMYo9D6SqfR1dP9. The Presentation deck must be submitted in Power Point format. Here is the PPT Template (https://s.brin.go.id/l/templatepptISMM2025) designed by committee. It is not mandatory, but please include the ISMM logo.
  3. Please rename the presentation deck file with Paper ID_Presenter’s Name_The first 3 words of the paper’s title (Ex: 04_Susi Susanti_The effect of materials)
  4. The presentation must be delivered in English
  5. The rundown and presentation sequence is in the Program Book ISMM 2025.
  6. The presenters/participant should be in the main room of ISMM 2025 on the clock given on the rundown.
  7. Participants are expected to wear neat and formal attire
  8. Each presenter is given 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes for the Q&A session
  9. The technical committee will remind you when the presentation time is 1 minute left by ringing the bell one time. And when the presentation time is over, the bell will ring three times. The Q&A session will end when the bell rings three times.
  10. The technical committee will provide the laptop and pointer for the presentation.
  11. If anybody has the newest file for the presentation, you can give the file to the technical committee in the room.

📜 Call for Posters

All student participants are encouraged to participate in the poster session of this seminar. There will be awards (Prizes + winner certificate) for three of the best posters. However, due to the limited space of the poster hall, students must send the abstract and poster information through this link. The accepted abstract and the poster requirement will be notified via e-mail. Poster requirements:
  • Posters should cover the material indicated in the “call for abstract”,
  • Deadline for the abstract and poster registration: October 2nd, 2025,
  • Poster dimension requirements: Posters should be in X-Banner size 60 cm (width) × 160 cm (height),
  • Posters should be in portrait (vertical) orientation, and
  • Posters should cover the material indicated in the accepted abstract.

    To reach to our venue (Wisma Tamu Puspiptek / Graha Widya Bhakti – BRIN) if you are from Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK):

    By Taxi
    Taxi online services are available from CGK to Wisma Tamu Puspiptek-BRIN. From CGK, you can order through Gojek/Grab/MyBluebird application to send you and it will cost you around IDR 150,000-250,0000. Alternatively, you can order a Bluebird taxi directly from the pick-up point located at the airport terminal exit. The fare is up to IDR 250,000 or more.

    By Rail Link (Kereta Bandara)
    You may also purchase the rail link ticket at Stasiun Bandara Soekarno-Hatta or online through KAI Access application to Stasiun BNI City (Sudirman Baru) with cost of IDR 70,000. From Stasiun BNI City (Sudirman Baru), you need take KRL Commuter Line to transit at Stasiun Tanah Abang with last destination at Stasiun Rawa Buntu with cost of IDR 3,000-8,000 using Kartu Uang Elektronik (e-money).     The gala dinner of the ISMM 2025 will take place at the Lembur Kuring Sunburst BSD on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.

    The Lembur Kuring Sunburst BSD is an exceptional restaurant just 8 kilometres from Wisma Tamu Puspiptek. The Lembur Kuring is serving Sundanese and Javanese cuisine with over 30 years of experience.
