Food security has become an urgent global issue due to population growth, climate change, and pressure on natural resources. Innovations such as alternative proteins—including cultured meat, insects, and plant-based proteins—as well as AI and IoT-based smart farming technologies, offer sustainable solutions to meet the world's food needs. The Research Organization for Food and Agriculture of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is organizing the International Conference on Food and Agricultural Sciences 2025 (ICFAS 2025). The event aims to gather researchers, academics, technicians, students, and practitioners who are advancing agricultural and food technologies, including agronomy, smart farming, food technology and processes, pre- and post-harvest technologies, food safety, and related topics. ICFAS 2025, themed "From Smart Agriculture to Secure Plates: Ensuring Food Safety and Sustainability," will be held in a hybrid format in Yogyakarta on August 26–28, 2025.

A : The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, both online and offline at the venue. The offline conference will be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

A : Review papers that are relevant to the conference topic are accepted for publication. However, their number is limited to 20% of the total publications.
