Building on its successful history in Bangkok and Hanoi, the Asia Pacific-Japan Enzyme Technology Symposium returns for its third edition in Bogor, Indonesia, in 2026. Hosted by Amano Enzyme Inc. and co-hosted by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), this premier regional platform will convene under the theme “Enzyme Frontiers in Asia-Pacific: Molecular Insights to Transformative Applications.” Designed as an immersive in-person experience, the symposium bridges fundamental science and industrial innovation, fostering collaboration across food, health, energy, and environmental sustainability. Symposium Guideline
APETS 2026 brings together leading scientists, industry innovators, policymakers, and students to discuss advances in enzyme science, biotechnology, and industrial applications. The symposium will feature keynote lectures, plenary sessions, poster showcasing, and networking opportunities.
The official language of the symposium is English.
All participants are expected to follow these guidelines to ensure a professional and productive scientific environment.
Keynote and plenary sessions provide scientific insights, technological advances, and strategic perspectives in enzyme research and applications.
Presentation Duration
- Keynote Lecture: 45 minutes including discussion
- Plenary Lecture: 30 minutes including discussion

- Submit to the technical team at least 2 hours before the session

Poster sessions allow researchers to showcase their work throughout the symposium in a continuous display format. There will not be individual time slots for presenting posters one by one.
