The 14th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering and Application 2027 (ICSEEA 2027) is a premier international forum that brings together researchers, policymakers, academics, practitioners, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, present pioneering research, and build collaborative strategies toward sustainable industrial transformation. Organized by the Research Organization for Energy and Manufacture (OREM) under the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), ICSEEA 2027 will be held on 6–7 April 2027 in a hybrid format, combining online and onsite presentations, with the conference and professional development workshops taking place in Bali, Indonesia. Under the theme “Strengthening Energy Transition and Environmental Decarbonization for Sustainable Green Economic Growth” this year’s conference emphasizes the integration of scientific inquiry, actionable policy, and industrial practice to support a resilient, inclusive, and decarbonized global future.
The conference is structured around three principal areas of inquiry: Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing, Environmental Decarbonization and Process Technology, and Resilience in Energy Transition. These areas examine the integration of Industry 5.0, advanced machinery, structural engineering, material strength, construction and management engineering, industrial automation and robotics, additive manufacturing, smart production systems, and sustainable manufacturing technologies within modern industrial development. They also address waste-to-resource innovation, industrial decarbonization, green process engineering, cleaner production, low-carbon industrial processes, carbon capture, utilization and storage, water treatment technology, clean water treatment, and environmental technologies that support sustainable industry. In addition, the conference highlights smart grids, energy storage, electric generation, hydrogen technology, fuel cells, advanced fuel technologies, non-conventional energy, energy conversion, heat transfer, net-zero emission energy systems, electric vehicle technology, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and energy system resilience. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting the integration of scientific research, technological innovation, policy development, and industrial practices, ICSEEA 2027 seeks to accelerate the adoption of sustainable technologies and resilient energy solutions, thereby supporting the advancement of low-carbon industries and long-term green economic growth. .

Author Guidelines for Full Paper Submission
- ICSEEA 2027 invites manuscript submissions related to the conference tracks and the theme “Strengthening Energy Transition and Environmental Decarbonization for Sustainable Green Economic Growth”.
- All submitted papers must be original, written in English, and not under submission, review, or publication elsewhere.
- All papers will be evaluated through a peer-review process by the Technical Program Committee.
- The plagiarism checks results should have a maximum similarity of 20 percent.
- ICSEEA 2027 invites authors to submit full papers no later than October 31, 2026.
- All papers must comply with the ethical guidelines of AIP Conference Proceedings, available through this link.
- Authors must prepare their full papers using the AIP Conference Proceedings template, available through this link.
- All full papers must be submitted through the EDAS submission system using the following link.
- Authors who do not have an EDAS account should create one first, then log in to the EDAS submission system to submit their paper.

- This journal publication option is available only for selected papers based on manuscript quality, journal scope, and editorial requirements.

How to Get to the Venue
The conference will take place in Bali, Indonesia. Bali is served by I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), the main international and domestic gateway to the island. Participants arriving by domestic or international flights may continue their journey from the airport to the conference venue or their accommodation by airport taxi, ride-hailing service, private transfer, hotel transportation, or pre-arranged group transportation. Travel time from the airport may vary depending on the location of the conference venue, traffic conditions, arrival time, weather conditions, and the selected route. Participants are therefore advised to allow sufficient travel time, particularly during peak hours, public holidays, weekends, and major tourism seasons.
- By Airport Taxi or Regular Taxi, participants may take an official airport taxi from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to the conference venue or their accommodation. Official taxi counters are available within the airport arrival area. Participants are advised to clearly confirm their destination with the driver and, where applicable, ask whether toll-road charges or other additional fees are included in the fare.
- By Ride-Hailing Services, participants may use online transportation services such as GrabCar, GoCar, or Gojek. After completing the airport arrival procedures, passengers should follow the instructions provided in the application and proceed to the designated pick-up point. Before starting the trip, participants are encouraged to verify the vehicle registration number, driver’s name, pick-up location, and destination shown in the application.
- By Private Airport Transfer or Hotel Transfer, participants may arrange transportation in advance through their hotel, travel agent, conference organizer, or local transportation provider. This option is particularly recommended for international participants, participants carrying additional luggage or presentation materials, first-time visitors to Bali, and those arriving late in the evening. The driver will usually meet passengers at the designated arrival area and provide direct transportation to their destination.
- By Group Transportation or Chartered Vehicle, participants travelling in groups may arrange a private car, van, minibus, or chartered vehicle from the airport or their accommodation. This option is suitable for delegates with similar arrival schedules, conference committees, speakers, and participants carrying conference equipment or additional luggage. Advance booking is recommended to ensure vehicle availability and facilitate smooth coordination.
Upon arrival in Bali, participants may reach the conference venue by taxi, ride-hailing service, private car, hotel transfer, or transportation arranged by the conference organizer. Participants are advised to confirm the exact venue address before travelling and to allocate additional travel time during peak traffic hours, holidays, major events, and high tourism seasons.
